Family Fun in Werneth Park
Marjory Lees, following the death of her mother Dame Sarah Lees presented this beautiful park in Oldham to the Council. In 1936 It was opened to the public and has hosted many outdoor events.
Over four days from June 7-10, Henry Hill’s Northwest Fun Fairs provided entertainment for all, the warm conditions cert ainly helped In drawing in the crowds. Henry considers security important to provide a safe, family environment and the fair was therefore fenced, with local firm Pride Security in attendance.
Most of the amusements were provided by Henry Hill’s Northwest Fun Fairs, comprising his Skynder, Miami (recently repainted by Tony Rea), Waltzer and Fun House, with various inflatables, juveniles and stalls. Also on hand were Henry’s brothers Michael and Dean with Dodgems and train. Catering kiosks provided a choice of Halal and Caribbean food.
Henry will be supplying attractions in Southport over the summer and will be back in Werneth Park for the Asian Mela.
